Should I Update to Windows 11?

THIS ARTICLE NO LONGER APPLIES. WINDOWS 11+ UPDATES ARE NOW ACCEPTABLE.

Radalink strongly suggests that you do not update to Windows 11 until more bug fixes are applied by the manufacturer.

If you recently updated a Windows 10 system to Windows 11 (fewer than ten days ago), then you may roll back those changes using the instructions here:

https://www.tomshardware.com/how-to/uninstall-windows-11

If you have recently acquired a new Windows 11 device, or if you plan to use Windows 11 devices in the near future, then please see the instructions below.

MyRadalink.com users who are already using Windows 11 may join our beta testing group for the new AirCat v2 application, which can work with Windows 11. The original AirCat app is not compatible with Window 11.  Please contact our office at customerservice@radalink.com to be added to the Windows Beta Test Group and obtain the new AirCat v2 software you will need.

Because eRadalink is being closed at some point in the near future, we are not offering an eRadalink-compatible AirCat software solution for Windows 11. Therefore, we will need to migrate your users to the new customer portal at MyRadalink.com so that you may continue to use your AirCat radon monitors with Windows 11.

Please email our office at customerservice@radalink.com to arrange the following steps:

  1. We will prepare your account for migration to MyRadalink.

  2. Arrange a short support call for yourself and all other technicians on your account to make sure AirCat software installation is smooth, and to briefly walk through using MyRadalink.

  3. Request that your Windows 11 users be added to our Windows Beta Test Group, described above, and we will provide them a link to register their device and get the Windows 11 compatible AirCat software that works with MyRadalink.

A guide to show you what to expect when migrating is found here:

Windows 11 Bluetooth and AirCat v2

Users of Windows 11 may still experience AirCat Bluetooth connection problems. The application will alert you with repeated messages saying that it “could not connect”. If this happens, please check the following:
